Hi there,

When I first started ARCOL, my focus was simple: create the best possible products.

I spent years learning from scratch, testing, failing and refining. At the beginning I did not have the know-how or even the capacity to think about anything beyond quality and functionality.

But as ARCOL grew, so did my perspective. I realised that building great products also means taking responsibility for how they are made, how long they last and the impact they leave behind.

We believe in Smart Protections, solutions that protect homes, journeys and the things we care about most. And protection does not stop with the product itself. It also means protecting our planet and our community, so that what we build today contributes to a better tomorrow.

We are just at the beginning of our sustainability journey, but we are committed to moving forward with honesty and transparency. From recyclable packaging to smarter transport choices, from longer lasting materials to our partnership with Greenspark, we are taking concrete steps to reduce our footprint and do better every day.

Smarter Packaging & Logistics

We believe small changes can create a big impact. That is why we are rethinking the way our products are packaged and shipped. Whenever possible, we use recyclable packaging, reducing unnecessary plastic and materials. For some products, such as our snow socks, packaging is designed to be reused as a functional case, giving it a second life beyond shipping.

We also pay close attention to product dimensions. By reducing unnecessary bulk, we can optimise shipments, lower emissions, and make storage easier for our customers. And because logistics is one of the biggest contributors to a company’s footprint, we prioritise land and sea transport over air, a choice that significantly reduces the environmental impact of delivering our products across Europe

Responsible Materials & Circular Thinking

We take responsibility for the materials we choose and the waste we prevent. Through our partnership with Greenspark, every purchase contributes to removing five plastic bottles from the ocean. A small step that, multiplied by our community, becomes meaningful impact.

Whenever possible, we use recyclable materials to reduce waste at the source. We also offer spare parts for certain products, so that customers can repair instead of replace, extending the product’s usefulness and reducing unnecessary disposal.

Finally, even for products with a natural lifecycle we set higher quality standards. This means our products are designed to last longer and perform better, reducing waste over time and ensuring customers get more value from every purchase

Designed with Care

Smart Protections also means building responsibly. Each ARCOL product is designed with attention to detail and care, so that it is stronger and more reliable than many alternatives on the market.

We are transparent about the natural lifecycle of our products. While some items will inevitably wear out over time, we provide guidance and support to help customers get the most out of them. Our goal is not perfection, but responsibility: to continuously seek better standards, balancing durability, safety, and environmental impact
